After the job keeper had finished, the NSW government recently introduced many measures to stimulate the State economy. Part of it includes the $25 dinner voucher and $25 entertainment voucher. TODAY, the NSW government introduced the $1500 grant called the Small Fee and Charges Rebate. Another way to think about it is, the State Government is giving free money to small businesses to say thank you and to say please work hard.
Great news. The eligibility for Small Fee and Charges Rebate is quite simple; you must have an Australian Business Number and operate a business in the State. The other eligibilities are:
- have total Australian wages below the NSW Government 2020-2021 payroll tax threshold of $1.2 million
- have an Australian Business Number (ABN) registered in NSW and have business premises physically located and operating in NSW
- be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
- provide a declaration that the business has a turnover of at least $75,000 per year.
The rebate will finish by 30 June 2021; hence please apply as soon as possible, and please get in touch with us to help you apply.
Hence, if you are a small business in New South Wales and have paid those state government fees, please come and talk to me; as one of the most professional and experienced CPA accountants, we would assist you with the $1500 cash rebate. Our number is 0410829900.
